NSI's motivation is to protect the customer by separating the good from the bad in a transparent and open way.

Insurers

NSI works closely with the insurance industry, whose steadfast support for over 35 years has helped reduce risks and keep insurance premiums to a minimum. Insurance companies acknowledge this professionalism and frequently specify NSI approved companies.

Police Service

Monitored intruder alarms installed and maintained by NSI approved companies meet the requirements of the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO)* Policy on intruder alarms.

The Government is served by giving the public measurable confidence in the industries NSI inspects. The Security Industry Authority's (SIA) Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) assessments are conducted in conjunction with NSI's inspection regime.
